Diploma of Nursing

Bachelor of Nursing

Master of Nursing
Students from other educational backgrounds, Bachelor of Social Work, Bachelor of Community Service, Bachelor of Pharmacy, Bachelor of Physiotherapy, Bachelor of Dentistry, Bachelor of Science (Biotechnology, Microbiology) can also study Master of Nursing.

In Australia, Nurses are broadly classified into two types:
A registered nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care for patients across the community, residential, or hospital settings. To be a registered nurse, university level of education and critical thinking and research skills at a Bachelor or Master Level to perform this role appropriately.
An enrolled nurse is educated at a Vocational Educational and Training sector (VET) level and has practical skills and theoretical knowledge to provide care for patients. These nurses work under the supervision of Registered Nurse.
