Changes in Australian Visa Cost

Australian Department of Home Affairs made changes in visa

application cost-effective from 1st July 2023.

Likewise previous years, some changes will fix in the fee structure of

various visa subclasses that are essential to know before lodging your

file to the Department of Home Affairs.

In the last year, the visa application fee of Student visa subclass 500 was $620.00, which will be increased up to $630.00.

However, for subclass 485, an increase of $30 can be seen from $1650.00 to $1680.00.

For a tourist visa onshore, the new fee will be $370.00, which would be

a small hike from the previous fee structure, which was $365.00.

Similarly, the other visa categories fee has also revised, Visa subclass

491, the fee of $4115.00 since July 2021, from $4045.

Skilled independent Subclass 189 and Skilled Nominated Visa

Subclass 190, ENS Visa Subclass 186, the fee structure will also have

the same structure with an equal increase for visa application, $4045-

$4115, from 1st July 2021. A significant hike would be seen for AAT

Applications $1826-$3000, Citizenship $285-$490, Federal Court

$3330-$3365.

The other visa categories, TSS Visa Subclass Short 482, will have an

increment of $25, accounted $1265-$1290. Lastly, for Partner Visa 309

and 820, the cost of lodging a file will be $7850, which was $7715 in

the past.
